Aces High Bourbon Whiskey
Aces High Bourbon Whiskey is one of our newest additions to the spirits family at Mystic Mountain. Aces High Bourbon Whiskey is a natural bourbon flavored whiskey handcrafted in small batches in our Larkspur, CO distillery. Our bourbon whiskey has a smooth, unique flavor sought after by whiskey lovers around the world. At Mystic Mountain we take our whiskey seriously and will put our brand against any of the mass produced whiskey makers out there!
One of the things that make our products special is the care and attention they get during the distilling process. As with all our brands, Aces High Bourbon Whiskey is distilled using lower temperatures over slower distilling times to get the most out of our unique mash recipe. This time consuming process gives us the quality we look for and you deserve!
Aces High Bourbon Whiskey is distilled five (5) times, just like our Colorado Crystal Super Premium Vodka, to obtain purity, removing impurities and off tastes from the mash by products of the fermentation process.
The next step is adding our natural Colorado mountain deep rock “sweet water” to each batch, filtering with our eight (8) charcoal filters and aging our flavorful bourbon whiskey in oak barrels to further develop it’s wonderful, mellow flavors!
Aces High Bourbon Whiskey recently received a Bronze Medal Award in the American Blended Bourbon Whiskey category from the Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago, IL. The Beverage Testing Institute had this to say about our whiskey; “aromas of sour cream frosting, caramel yogurt, faint anise pastry with a supple, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a butter cream, licorice, tea leaf, and peppercorn finish. A wooly and lactic whiskey for Irish coffee-type drinks.” We recommend drinking Aces High Bourbon Whiskey straight up or on the rocks to get the most out of its flavor. It is also delightful with a touch of ginger ale or in coffee inspired drinks!
