BOHICA Vodka
BOHICA Vodka is a traditional, American style vodka, with a little more bite than our other products, less body and is very comparable to a slightly smoother version of Smirnoff.
BOHICA Vodka is our way of paying homage to the military. BOHICA Vodka got its name from a saying used during military days. When there would come a time someone had to go in front of a superior for a stern “talkingto” the joke would be “I have to go get BOHICA’d” which stands for Bend Over Here It Comes Again!
We use our same wonderful distilling methods to create delicious BOHICA Vodka. Slower processes, using lower temperatures, combined with pulling out the “middle”, like carving out the center of a watermelon, gives us the “heart” we look for to produce very smooth, rich bodied Vodka. This is a time consuming process that gives the resultant clear liquid exceptional quality we look for in our products.
BOHICA Vodka is distilled three (3) times, to obtain purity, removing impurities and off tastes from the mash by products of the fermentation process.
The next stage of processing is the reduction of the proof levels to the ATF standard for vodka by adding our natural Colorado mountain artesian “sweet water” to each batch. Our “sweet water” is carefully blended to achieve the proper alcohol requirements.
From here the batch proceeds through a series of eight (8) charcoal filters to purify the liquid for further quality.
At this point the product is contained in a holding tank and is ready for hand crafted bottling, labeling, and packaging in our local family boutique distillery. BOHICA Vodka is a great alternative to the super premium choices available. It’s pure, clean, smooth taste make it an excellent beverage giving you quality vodka with an affordable price.
