Colorado Blue Vodka is a smooth product, with a slight bite and a rich body. The flavor is comparable to a slightly smoother, tastier Absolut, European in style and blend.

The Europeans have a different take on vodka, especially the Germans, to whom vodka is truly a flavored product. Flavor does not come from lemon or lime, orange juice or tonic; rather flavor is a direct result of the recipe and distillation process. Many small European distilleries make distinct tasting vodka, with a hint of flavor derived from individual recipes. While most of the world’s mass vodka makers are trying to appeal to mass market taste, the micro distilleries find their niche in the subtle difference vodka can have in richness, smoothness and body.
Colorado Blue Vodka is distilled just like its more distinguished sibling, Colorado Crystal, in the fact that we use slower distilling methods and lower temperatures to produce smooth, rich bodied vodka.
At Mystic Mountain we concentrate on the “heart” of the batch to provide you the quality you deserve and look for in vodka. Colorado Blue Vodka is distilled four (4) times to obtain its purity and then combined with our artesian “sweet water” to get proofing levels to the ATF standard for vodka.
From here the batch proceeds through a series of eight (8) charcoal filters to purify the liquid and then it’s held in a holding container until we’re ready to bottle, label, and package the spirit by hand. Micro-distillers throughout the nation are determined to show vodka – clean, crisp, and colorless – does not mean flavorless.
