Colorado Fog Gin

Colorado Fog Gin from Mystic Mountain Distillery is another newer addition to the family. As gin lovers we wanted to produce a quality gin without the sometimes overpowering “piney” presence found in many gins today. Colorado Fog Gin is that creation! Colorado Fog Gin is a smooth, crisp, drinkable gin, with a great mellow, flavorful finish.

Colorado Fog Gin is hand crafted at 7,000ft in the Rocky Mountains using our same wonderful distilling methods to create a unique, delicious gin. Slower processes, using lower temperatures, combined with pulling out the “middle”, gives us the “heart” we look for in our products to produce very smooth, rich bodied, delicate gin. We use a secret recipe of botanicals and herbs, as well as infusing juniper berries for their complex flavors. Colorado Fog Gin is distilled four (4) times, to obtain purity, removing impurities and off tastes from the mash by products of the fermentation process.

The next stage of processing is the reduction of the proof levels to the ATF standard for gin by adding our natural Colorado mountain artesian “sweet water” to each batch. Our “sweet water” is carefully blended to achieve the proper alcohol requirements.

Now the batch proceeds through a series of eight (8) charcoal filters to purify the liquid for further quality. At this point the product is kept in holding tanks until we’re ready to bottle, label, and package the premium beverage by hand and ship out to a retailer near you for your drinking pleasure! Colorado Fog Gin is truly a gin drinking experience like no other. Its subtle, smooth flavors allow it to be generously consumed straight or on the rocks.
